Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the “Groupe Français des Peptides et des Protéines” (GFPP), the University of Normandy, and the Haute-Normandie and Basse-Normandie Regions, it will be a great pleasure to welcome you to Portbail (Manche) to participate in the 19th Congress of the GFPP, which will be held on 17-22 May, 2015.
The venue of 19GFPP will be the Village Vacances of Portbail, a small town located on the west coast of the Cotentin, facing the Channel Islands. A coach service will wait for you at the train station in Valognes, which can be accessed directly from the Saint-Lazare station in Paris.
The Organizing Committee has prepared an attractive program that will cover all aspects of contemporary peptide and protein sciences in both basic and applied domains. The conference program will include a general-public lecture, 13 cutting-edge plenary lectures, 43 selected oral communications, and several dozen posters and partner exhibition stands.
The social events, included in the registration fee of all participants, will include a get-together party on Sunday May 17, a banquet, and a music and dance on thursday evening. A half-day excursion in Normandy is also available at extra charge.
Twenty-one scholarships for young investigators (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) have been awarded.
We thank you to join us for the major national congress in Peptide and Protein Science in Portbail in 2015. You will have the opportunity to learn the most recent advances in these and related disciplines, to meet old friends and colleagues, and to establish new contacts working in fields similar to your own.
